Yipeng Zhou | 周毅鹏

I am a learner and researcher of Eurasia. My scholarly interests focused on the historical and contemporary relations between Central Asia and Xinjiang. More broadly, I’m interested in the history of Eurasian borderlands, particularly how geopolitical rivalries, state-building, nation-making, and personal stories intertwined in these fascinating lands.

Apart from being a historian, I am a researcher of Central Asia’s climate and energy policy, a promoter and practitioner of digital scholarship, and a trilingual (Chi/Eng/Ru) translator/interpreter.
